Our DIP is designed as an instructional program aimed at providing driver rehabilitation and enhancing road safety. You may have been assigned to take our program for various reasons, including referral by a District Court Judge, Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) in the Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH), accumulation of points on your driving record, or a moving violation while holding a provisional driver’s license.

Rest assured, our program meets the specifications set by the MVA, and upon successful completion, we’ll notify the MVA on your behalf. It’s important to keep proof of attendance for your records.

To enroll in our DIP, you will need: a government ID with a photo. If you don’t have a driver’s license, we’ll need paperwork with your Maryland MVA Soundex number. Attendance is mandatory, and participants must stay for the entire course. A passing score of 80% is required on the final test to successfully complete the class.

If you’re an applicant for a Maryland driver’s license and currently hold a driver’s license from another country, completing our 3-hour alcohol and drug education program is required towards obtaining your Maryland driver’s license.

Attendance is mandatory, as completion of the program is a prerequisite for receiving the Maryland driver’s license. Participants need to present valid identification, such as a government-issued ID or passport, pay the fee, and pass the exam with a score of at least 80%. If you do not pass the final exam, you can re-take the exam the next day.
